By some miracle it looks like we might just be celebrating a Halloween without the omnipresent fall drizzle. In addition to wandering the neighborhood in search of candy, there are a variety of ways to celebrate the Halloween holiday near base. Here is our list of spooky (and just plain fun) activities all over the county:
Pumpkin Palooza: A Downtown Puyallup tradition, Pumpkin Palooza returns to offer children a safe and fun way to trick or treat with Downtown Puyallup’s local businesses.
Pierce County Pumpkin Patches: From picking out the perfect pumpkin to getting yourself lost in a corn maze, sometimes the funnest way to celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year is to head to the farm. Today’s pumpkin patches also have fun treats like Carmel apples, apple cider, pumpkin catapult.
Haunted Houses: For older kids, (and kids at heart that love a good scare) a trip to the haunted house might be the best way to spend halloween. From downtown Tacoma’s Black Lake Asylum and Hillbilly Haunt to Buckley’s famous Fright Factory, there is something scary for everyone.
Enjoy a safe and HAPPY HALLOWEEN, everyone!
