The Hunter Family Farm is the perfect place for families with young children. In addition to their pumpkin patch, they also have a huge line-up of harvest-themed activities. The Hunter Family Farm offers wagon rides, kiddie train rides, pony rides, a hay maze with a giant slide and even more! In addition to a pumpkin patch, tractor rides and a maze, Lattin’s Country Cider Mill & Farm is home to a lovely Apple Festival that takes place every single weekend in October! The farm offers apple crisp, caramel apples, apple pie, apple cake, apple fritters, BBQ, and of course, a huge variety of nationally award winning ciders! Can’t make it to the farm in October? Well good news: the farm is open all year round with different happenings each month.
For a spookier adventure, the Rutledge Corn Maze runs through all of October on Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm – 12:30 am. This is definitely not for the faint of heart! For the little ones, Rutledge corn maze is open during the day and features more family friendly activities including a corn maze train, a huge hay pyramid for jumping in, and an intriguing mystery game.
The Schilter Family Farm is an 180 acre farm that offers all sorts of events and activities all year round! Their pumpkin patch and harvest festival runs through all of October and has a ton of activities for the whole family. The farm has a huge area dubbed the ‘Kids Korral’ with all kinds of activities, a ‘Round-Up Railway’, pony rides, hay rides, a hay maze, farm animals and much more. Fresh produce, fall-themed decor, pumpkin pies, homemade cider donuts, roasted corn and more are also available!
